Travel, work and feel at home. I love travelling. Discovering new places, leaving everyday life behind and simply spending some time somewhere different. The one thing I rarely leave behind, though, is my laptop – because as a self-employed professional, I work on the go, too. And that's where the problem began. I've lost count of the times I've sat at the kitchen table of a holiday flat, perched on a chair that might have been perfect for a relaxed dinner, but certainly wasn't designed for several hours of work. My back would start complaining sooner than expected, and what had begun as a lovely change of scenery would suddenly turn into a rather uncomfortable place to work. At some point, I thought: Surely, there must be a better way. Why should I have to choose between beautiful accommodation and a proper workspace when travelling? Why should I have to sacrifice comfort on holiday just because I want to get some work done along the way? These questions inspired the idea of creating holiday flats where both have a natural place: life and work – and, of course, everything in between. That's why you won't find just a table and any old chair here. Instead, you'll find a workspace where you can genuinely get things done. Thoughtfully designed, ergonomically considered and furnished just as I would have wished for on my own travels. And what if you don't want to work at all? Even better.
